We had a wonderful 3.5 days at the Crook County Fair! We met lifelong Democrats as well as folks new to Crook County who were amazed to see us and our well-stocked booth. Kids and adults alike enjoyed spinning the wheel, picking up information and (adults) registering to vote. Dan Ruby, candidate for CD2, visited and interacted with visitors to the fair. All in all it was a positive experience and those of us who worked the booth look forward to next year. Speaking of volunteers, consider signing up to help next year – it’s a really good time! Paula entered artwork and earned accolades for her efforts. Susan’s floral arrangements earned her recognition as well. A nice couple helped us out by drawing the winner of the solar generator, Penny Rode of Bend, and Michelle delivered it to her.
