Millions of protesters across the U.S. took to the streets in demonstrations against the Trump administration on Saturday, June 14th, in stark counter-programming to the president’s Washington, D.C. military parade that evening.
“No Kings” rallies in Central Oregon drew thousands of people. We were blown away by how many joined us in Prineville. Some came a long way to participate — we spoke with folks who traveled from Portland, John Day, Mitchell, Sisters, and more.
Attendance grew as the event unfolded — toward the end, we estimated that 225+ protesters were rallying with us to protest against President Donald Trump and his cruel and oppressive government. Many thanks to all who attended!
Central Oregon Daily News covered our activities, as well as those in Bend, Redmond, Madras, and La Pine. Here are a few photos of participants we captured:

Great job by everybody protesting fascism. I met some excellent people out there fighting the good fight. Lots of positivity and resistance to the ‘baiting’ by the tiny, ineffectual handful of counter-protestors across the street. Heck, half of them were late to the party. Great job, Prineville!
