The Crook County Democratic Central Committee chose to become a member of the Prineville-Crook County Chamber of Commerce this year. Because we are members, we were invited to host a Prineville Perk, which is an opportunity to share coffee, goodies and fellowship with those in attendance from the community. CCDCC hosted the weekly event on Friday, September 22 and shared our vision as well as our community involvement and our support of local businesses. We were well received and appreciated this chance to make our presence known.
Thank you to fellow Democrats who participated and especially to Paula Minetti-Mabol who provided wonderful homemade scones and muffins! And to Michelle Cordova who spoke about our fundraising efforts and invited local businesses to participate with items to be raffled or auctioned.
