Letter from the Chair
In 2025, Crook County Democrats achieved a 39% Democratic participation rate in the May school board election and sustained a strong election presence with 37 active PCPs, an Election Integrity Coordinator, and a public event featuring Oregon’s Secretary of State and the Crook County Clerk. We strengthened community connections through regular social meetups, peaceful protests, and in-person events with local and statewide speakers, plus booths at the county fair and Prideville. Major fundraisers, a $500 state party grant, and strong ActBlue support kept our finances solid, while our branding and outreach drove significant growth in website traffic, social media followers, and newsletter subscriptions.
I may be the chair of this incredible group, but nothing would be possible without our team’s collective effort. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work!
— Brian Samp, Chair
