The Pine Theater was filled to overflowing on the evening of Wednesday, April 3. One count put the attendance at 162 Crook County citizens who came to hear from the four candidates for the Crook County Board of Commissioners. While the non-partisan event was sponsored by the Crook County Democratic Central Committee, the attendance was from all party affiliations.
We thank Pine Theater owner Ali Mehrabi for allowing us to rent his facility for the event and look forward to hosting similar events there in the future. We also thank Laura Cooper for moderating the event – she was masterful!
And to those who took time from their busy lives to spend 90 minutes with us learning about the candidates, asking hard questions and listening patiently to the answers you have our sincere gratitude. It was a great evening for Crook County and we were proud to have had a part in it!
