On Jan. 20, 2026, Crook County Democrats joined Americans across the nation in the Free America Walkout, protesting Donald Trump’s presidency and his administration’s deadly immigration enforcement.
More than 70 people attended our protest, held on the one-year anniversary of his inauguration. We received mostly positive responses, but the usual handful of jerks flipped us off and told us to “Get a job!!” Pretty original, right?
