Crook County Democrats monthly meeting

Our guest this month is Crook County Commissioner Susan Hermreck.

As a member of our county’s governing body, she helps manage county operations, budgets, and policies. The board oversees more than 20 departments, including road maintenance, public safety, and land use planning.

Susan will fill us in on the many projects in their pipeline, including the PacificCorp proposal to route a new electric transmission corridor through Powell Butte, the status of investigations into local groundwater contamination, where things stand with the Hwy 126/Powell Butte Hwy roundabout/intersection improvements, and more.
