Oregon makes it easy to register or update your voter registration online. You'll need an Oregon Driver's License/ID or passport.
- Register online
- Print the online form and mail it in
- Head to the Crook County Clerk's Office and register in person
- Complete/submit this Vote.org form
- Most post offices also have voter registration forms available
The registration deadline is 21 days before any election — in this case, it was October 13, 2026.
Check or update your info
Verify your voter registration, mailing address, and track your ballot status at OregonVotes.gov.
Voters' pamphlet
A copy of the Oregon voters' pamphlet was mailed to registered voters and was delivered the first week of October. You can also download it here.
DON'T ASSUME THAT YOU'RE REGISTERED! Receiving a voters' pamphlet at your address doesn't guarantee that you're registered to vote. Before every election, verify that your registration and mailing address are current. It only takes a minute at OregonVotes.gov.
Ballots
Ballots were mailed to voters on October 14, 2026.
Will you be away from home during the election? Complete and return an Oregon Absentee Ballot Request Form.
If you need to mark your ballot electronically before printing and mailing due to a disability, you can get an alternative-format ballot by visiting Oregon's Online Ballot-Marking Tool.
Didn't receive your ballot?
If you haven't received your ballot by October 21, contact the Crook County Clerk's office to request a replacement.
- Phone: (541) 447-6553
- Email: Elections@CrookCountyOr.gov
Returning your ballot
You can return your ballot by depositing it in an official drop box (no stamp required) or mail it.
- USE A DROP BOX. Secretary of State Tobias Read strongly urges everyone to use a drop box because of ongoing uncertainty about the U.S. Postal Service. It's the safest option to ensure that your vote is counted. Deposit your ballot by 8pm on Election Day, or it won't be tallied.

Traveling? You can use any drop box in Oregon: Find one here - MAIL IT. Your ballot must be postmarked by November 3, 2026. If you use this option, we cannot stress enough how important it is to mail it ASAP due to suspicious activity around ballots at the U.S. Postal Service. (File this under "Words we never thought we'd utter in our lifetime.")
You can also walk into any post office and request a free manual postmark.
