As Donald Trump prepared to address a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, March 4th, protest groups gathered at parks, statehouses, and other public places across the country to assail his presidency as dangerous and un-American.
Crook County Democrats joined millions across the country in the “50 Protests, 50 States, One Day” national resistance to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda and its efforts to reshape the Republican Party in the president’s image.
A wide range of issues were highlighted, including the economy, immigrant and abortion rights, and support for laid-off federal employees and Ukraine.
