Hundreds of people joined our No Kings rally today in Prineville — a new record! Way to go!
The thousands of rallies held across the country today marked the third major mobilization since Trump’s return to the White House. These events come amid a government shutdown that has shuttered federal programs and services, while also testing the fundamental balance of power as Donald Trump clashes with Congress and the courts, pushing the U.S. toward authoritarianism.
In Prineville, we were welcomed by waves, smiles, and honks, with very little negativity from passersby. Some folks from Grant County rallied with us, as well as a couple from Boise who were camping nearby.
To everyone who participated: Thank you for your patriotism and dedication to our community and nation. Taking time out of your busy Saturday to stand with us against tyranny is truly appreciated.
