16 Crook County Dems (and our 6 hosts) enjoyed appetizers at Priscilla & Stu Smith’s home, followed by a WONDERFUL meal at Beth & Roger Peer’s abode and wound up with scrumptious dessert/port tasting at Ann Blank & Drew Piriak’s lovely spot. A little precipitation didn’t slow us down one bit!
2023 Democratic Party of Oregon Platform Convention
The 2023 Platform Convention was held Aug. 18-20 at Western Oregon University in Monmouth. Crook County was well represented by Rich Mires, Michelle Cordova, Brian Samp, Roxanne Basey and Priscilla Smith. Good turnout, smoothly run, no trouble makers – it was democracy at its best!
All Good Things Must End!
Saturday evening, August 12, marked the end of the 2023 Crook County Fair. A gentleman named Roy won the Trek EBike and gifted it to his wife Terry for her birthday. Barbara and Roxanne locked arms with Joe and admired his accomplishments as they dismantled this year’s booth. All in all a good time was had – which couldn’t happen …
